How to Use
According to the Centers for Disease Control, practicing hand hygiene, which includes the use of alcohol-based hand rubs or sanitizers, or handwashing, is a simple yet effective way to prevent the spread of pathogens and infections in healthcare settings. CDC recommends using Alcohol Based Hand Rubs with greater than 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol in healthcare settings.
Tips:
Hands should be washed with soap and water for at least 20 seconds when visibly soiled, before eating, and after using the restroom (sing Happy Birthday twice!). When you can't wash your hands, the use of a Hand Sanitizer will help with hand hygiene. Avoid freezing and excessive heat above 40C (104F). Stop use and ask doctor if skin irritation develops
