It’s Olive harvest time at Juice Beauty! The Olive harvest generally follows within a month of the cabernet grape harvest at the Juice Beauty Farm in Sonoma County. 

As we have now harvested our FIRST grapes for Juice Beauty product ingredients, we plan on harvesting Olives for our products at a later date. So what do we do with them now?

Well, they certainly serve as inspiration for ingredients in our products as we love fatty acid rich olive oil and we use a lot of olive squalene for our products. Juice Beauty’s bestselling Stem Cellular Overnight Cream is an example where we use squalene for its’ plumping and hydrating action.

At Juice Beauty, we harvest the olives just like they did years and years ago in Italy. They are raked from the trees onto a tarp and then sent to a processor that makes organic olive oil---and then we really all “drink” it. Olives are full of fatty acids like omega-3’s, lipids and antioxidants (like Vitamin A and E) to help protect the skin from free radical damage. Deeply hydrating and balancing for the skin’s moisture levels. and because it contains Vitamin K and squalene, it can help to plump, soften and hydrate.
