With every new season I like to switch up my makeup routine and try out new products. After all it only seems natural to do so right? With summer in full swing, I have been into the most natural of natural looks. I am loving a makeup that looks like I am actually not wearing makeup but just so happen to have the perfect sun kissed glow.
Recently, I was introduced to Juice Beauty, which is the most amazing makeup and skincare line. They use plant derived phyto-pigments, an organic base of botanical juices, waxes, and powders, and the line is vegan and cruelty free, just to name a few important facts. As I have gotten older, I think more about what I am putting into my body, starting with my skin. Makeup directly goes into your skin and body and personally I only want to use the best and most natural products.
I have developed a daily routine where I apply the CC cream first, which has SPF (an everyday must!), then I apply the serum foundation with the wedge brush. This may be my new favorite brush because of the angles on it and it gets into those hard to reach areas and smoothly applies the foundation. Then I add the illuminating primer which I am obsessed with. It gives my skin that ideal glow and I can’t get enough of it. Next I dab on a bit of under eye concealer. I find that warming my fingertips first helps in the application process and it glides on very smoothly. Then I dust on powder, a little cream blush on my cheeks, and end with a spritz of hydrating mist which sets everything and also refreshes my skin and gives it that dewy look I love.
Basically, I think it is safe to say I will be using this entire line for a lot longer than just one season.
