Product & Education Quality Assurance

Juice Beauty is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to manage overall product and education quality working from our San Rafael, California sustainable headquarters.

This professional should be comfortable presenting/training in front of an audience, plus have an outgoing and highly collaborative personality. The right professional will play a critical part in several aspects of our high growth company including working alongside product development, spearheading and writing education programs and ensuring a perfect product experience for our customers.  In this role, they will work cross functionally with internal and external partners, to ensure tasks are completed with quality and integrity.   • In partnership with the product development team, manage product testing throughout development lifecycle to confirm product safety, compatibility and functionality
  • Create and execute education programs for Juice Beauty sales team

  • Write and enforce Quality Directives for all finished goods
  • Write and enforce Quality Directives/templates for company education and then train the trainers.

Retention Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a self-motivated marketing specialist who loves to build engaging email campaigns and loyalty initiatives to keep customers coming back. The Retention Marketing Specialist will work on a wide array of retention methods, including email, push notifications, auto-replenish and loyalty rewards.

This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email, push notifications and loyalty campaigns. Additional responsibilities include setting up and launching campaigns in Bronto and Shopify, developing testing plans, and campaign reporting.

Juice Beauty is seeking a highly collaborative Quality Control & Regulatory Manager to work in our San Rafael, California sustainable headquarters. As Quality Control & Regulatory Manager, this person will play a critical part in several aspects of our high growth company including new product development testing and clinicals, maintenance and performance monitoring of our laboratory sites and Juice Beauty products, as well as regulatory compliance.

In this role, this employee will work cross functionally with internal and external partners to ensure tasks are completed with quality and integrity, and within the aggressive timelines assigned. Additional responsibilities include staying current on all QC industry regulations and operation and maintenance of QC testing equipment. Reporting and working closely with the Supply Chain and Distribution Center, this person will report the Director of Product Development and work independently and in a timely manner. Experience in quality control for beauty products preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of all Juice Beauty Quality Standards.
  • Ensure non-conformances and CAPAs are implemented as required to maintain suitability of products.
  • Manage product testing process throughout development lifecycle to confirm product safety, compatibility and functionality, including but not limited to microbiological testing, safety testing, and clinical testing.
  • Create and perform internal testing for primary and secondary finished good packaging.
  • Write Quality Directives and establish AQLs for all finished goods.
  • Implement and maintain programs to achieve compliance with international, federal, state and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with PD & Marketing teams on product labelling and marketing claims.
  • Responsible for Quality and Regulatory document control.
  • Establish clinical validation protocols and clinical test trials for different product launch tiers.
  • Implement/maintain certifications that support and uphold Juice Beauty values.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years QA/QC experience, prior experience in beauty industry preferred with basic knowledge of industry testing systems.
  • Must have the ability to communicate technically with labs and suppliers.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with good verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the application of QA principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time with a strong attention to detail.
