Earthy, natural and on-trend, "Glow" actress Alison Brie topped all the best beauty lists with her effortless 2018 Emmy's look. Of course, she had a little help from Juice Beauty.
Celebrity Makeup Artist Melanie Inglessis used both Juice Beauty skincare products and PHYTO-PIGMENTS makeup to create the healthy look, and Alison was praised by Glamour and InStyle.
"For Alison’s Emmy’s look, I really wanted to focus on healthy, glowy, dewy skin and makeup with earthy tones on the eyes, lots of full beautiful lashes and a nude lip to complement this monochromatic look," Inglessis said.
How to Get Alison Brie's Emmy Look
Step 1: Skin
After cleaning the skin, Inglessis applied Juice Beauty's Nutrient Moisturizer, a nutrient-packed moisturizer that leaves the skin hydrated and soothed.
"I love an eye mask!" Inglessis said. She used Juice Beauty’s STEM CELLULAR Instant Eye Lift Algae Mask and left it on for 10 minutes while working on the rest of the skin. "It instantly brightens, tightens and hydrates the delicate skin around the eyes."
Pro Tip: While applying the skincare, Inglessis put a thick coat of Juice Beauty’s USDA Organic Lip Moisturizer on the lip to soften the lips and removed it just before applying lipstick.
Step 2: Face
"A primer is a must, especially for red carpets as my client will need to look flawless all day and the make up needs to stay put!" Inglessis said. As a concealer, Inglessis applied PHYTO-PIGMENTS Perfecting Concealer in the shade Cream for the peachy undertone for under the eyes. The consistency is creamy and luminous, covering dark circles while illuminating the under eye.
To give the skin a healthy glow, a sun kissed effect, Inglessis applied PHYTO-PIGMENTS Juice Boost in Bronzing to give the perfect glow when applied lightly on the cheek bones and cheeks.
Step 3: Cheeks
For a freshness, Inglessis added our PHYTO-PIGMENTS Last Looks Cream Blush on the apple of the cheeks. The orange blossom shade is that perfect coral/pink and gives a subtle wash of color.
Step 4: Eyes
To create Alison’s soft smoky eyes, Inglessis first applied PHYTO-PIGMENTS Cream Shadow Stick in Stone all over the eyes up to the crease of the eyes and under the lash line. No hard line, just a soft blending creamy eyeshadow.
For full lashes, she applied 2 coats of PHYTO-PIGMENTS Ultra-Natural Mascara in Black.
Step 5: Brows
Inglessis applied Juice Beauty’s PHYTO-PIGMENTS Brow Envy Gel in medium to define the brow naturally and give them a fuller look.
Step 6: Lips
"I wanted a super natural pout so I layered Juice Beauty’s Luminous Lip Crayon in Laguna, which is a natural color with a pink undertone, with Juice Beauty’s Sheer Lipgloss in Bikini, the combo gave me the perfect juicy natural pout!" Inglessis said.
