A new year means a fresh start and the perfect opportunity to begin healthier habits! And though we’re all aiming to eat more healthfully, get more beauty sleep, and make greener choices, we’ll admit that New Year’s resolutions are difficult to keep through the month…let alone the year.
So, we want to do what we can to help you keep your 2012 Beauty Resolutions!

Beauty Resolution #1: Cleanse skin before bed. We all know sleeping in your makeup can lead to breakouts (no matter what some makeup companies claim). The problem is that by waiting until late at night to wash off the day’s grit and grime, you’re more likely to skip straight to sleep than stop to wash your face when you’re exhausted.
A few ways to help keep this resolution?
- Use products that are a treat! You’re less likely to skip this if it’s something you look forward to.
- Wash up when you get home in the evening, before you settle in and get into your comfy clothes.
- Make it a family event. Cleanse while the kiddos brush their teeth before bed. This way you’re teaching them healthy habits too!
